Patient Monitoring System

Development of a patient monitoring system for the medical sector. In our approach, each vital sign is recognized by an independent sensor module. Because of this subdivision, the actually required sensor module can be connected individually for each patient. This reduces power consumption and production costs, sensors that are not needed have a longer lifespan and resources can be saved. When a patient is transferred, the individual module or the entire retaining system, including all modules, can be transported easily so that the patient no longer needs to be rewired.

The SYNERGY™ 3.0 MNP DNA Extraction Kit uses CTAB chemistry in a unique process that rapidly isolates high-quality DNA from plant and/or bacterial samples without laborious procedures or dangerous chemicals like chloroform. A novel bead beating process helps to remove contaminants, with subsequent magnetic nanoparticle (MNP) used to capture DNA that can be done manually or by using automated processes. This kit combines the benefits of CTAB, the most widely used chemistry for plant nucleic acid isolations, with the ease of MNPs, thus eliminating the need for centrifugation.
